Getting to Dublin

Dublin is easily accessible from the UK, Continental Europe, the USA and Asia. More than 36 scheduled airlines fly into Dublin Airport, which is located 12 km from the city centre. Dublin Airport serves 7 domestic, 29 UK, 36 Continental European and 9 international destinations.

Access from Dublin Airport to the RDS

Dublin is now served by 2 Terminals. There are a number of private and public bus services that operate from outside the airport arrivals areas to the city centre. The blue Aircoach is a privately run bus service which operates between the airport and a number of city hotels. Aircoach stops are located on Merrion Road in front of the RDS main complex entrance.

A Taxi rank is situated just outside the terminals and, depending on the time of day, the journey takes approximately 40 minutes to the RDS and conference hotels which costs approximately €35-€45.

By Ferry

Dublin has one ferry port - Dublin Port. Irish Ferries and Stena Line are the two ferry lines that operate at this port. Dublin Port, north of the city, is approximately ten minutes drive from the RDS.

All Car parking facilities at the RDS are operated on a fee-paying basis.

Car parking rates: €6.00 per day

Car Park Opening Hours: 7.30 am until 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
